Why should I hike with Naho Trek Rinjani?
We at Naho Trek Rinjani are proud to provide the best climbing services for Mount Rinjani. We provide competent guides and informed porters who have finished our program to ensure they are familiar with every facet of Mount Rinjani. Locals are employed by and paid decently by Naho Trek Rinjani, a Lombok-based hiking company. Naho was a porter and a guide before starting his own trekking company. To ensure that all waste is eliminated from the mountain, the voyage goes above and beyond.
When is the ideal time of year to go trekking in Rinjani?
April through December is when Rinjani trekking is most enjoyable. There may be more rain during the shoulder seasons of April and December. The months of May through July are generally nice. Due to severe weather and a lot of rain, Rinjani National Park will be closed from January 1 until March 31. On April 1st, the trekking season in Rinjani National Park officially begins. Trekking is feasible year-round from April to December, unless the volcano is very active or it is raining.
Can our guide, who has experience on Mount Rinjani, speak English?
Of course we have prepared guides with experience on Mount Rinjani because, prior to becoming guides, they work as porters for six months to gain experience and learn the situation. If they are already fluent in English, we then assign them to Mount Rinjani as guides.
Can I hike Rinjani in sneakers or running shoes?
Wearing your own hiking boots is highly recommended. You should be alright, though, if you are trekking in running shoes or sneakers that you feel completely comfortable with. Because of the terrain’s variability and occasionally difficulty, it is crucial to wear comfortable shoes with good traction. Keep in mind that these shoes will be on your feet for a few days. Although it is strongly recommended to wear appropriate hiking boots, we have seen numerous trekkers hiking in shoes. We strongly advise renting trekking shoes from Naho Trek Rinjani’s additional wardrobe (if available) if your sole profile is quite flat or if you want to hike in street-style sneakers like Converse or skater shoes because the track might get pretty
My bag will be carried by porters?
Usually, you are the one with your pack. In order to carry your clothes and other belongings with you throughout the walk, it is advised that you pack a compact bag that weighs no more than 7 kg. Additionally, your guides will bring extra bottled water and food for you each day. All food, water bottles, extra beverages, camping supplies, and cooking equipment will be carried by the porters. If necessary, a second porter can carry your personal belongings for an extra charge. This must be reserved in advance.
On the day of arrival, we would want to go to the waterfall close to Senaru. ?
The two Senaru waterfalls are open for your visit, of course, and we have accommodations close to the starting point for your hike. and depart at 2:00 pm in order to reach the destination.
